Everyone asks for one perfect posting time, but there isn't one. Your best time depends on your audience. Here is a simple way to find it for your own account.
Start with your own data
Open Instagram Insights and check when your followers are most active. This is a better starting point than any general rule, because your audience may be students, employees, families or shoppers with very different routines.
Test on purpose
- Pick two or three time slots, for example lunch time, early evening and late evening.
- Post similar content in each slot over two to four weeks.
- Change only the time, not the type of post, so the comparison is fair.
How to read the results
Compare reach, saves and shares for each slot, not likes alone. Keep the slot that consistently performs best, then test another time every couple of weeks, because audience habits shift.
Consider the calendar
Ramadan, National Day, Founding Day and school holidays change when people are online. Plan your times around these moments instead of keeping one schedule all year.
Consistency still matters most
A steady weekly schedule beats occasional bursts. Choose times you can keep, then improve them with data.
