Posting when you remember is the fastest way to lose momentum. A monthly content plan takes a few hours once, then saves you time every day. Here is the method we use with small businesses.
1. Pick three to four content pillars
Pillars are the repeating topics your account talks about. For a cafe they could be the menu, behind the scenes, customer moments and tips. Every post should fit one pillar.
2. Mix your formats
- Reels to reach new people.
- Carousels for tips and explanations that people save.
- Single images for offers and announcements.
- Stories for daily contact with people who already follow you.
3. Choose a rhythm you can keep
Three posts a week that you actually publish beat seven posts you drop after two weeks. Start small and raise the number when the routine holds.
4. Plan around Saudi dates
Add Ramadan, Eid, Saudi National Day, Founding Day, White Friday and back to school to the calendar first, then fill the gaps with your pillars.
5. Write the calendar down
For each post note the date, pillar, format, caption idea and call to action. A shared spreadsheet is enough.
6. Review every month
Look at which posts were saved, shared and replied to, keep what worked and drop what did not.
